Dashboards and alerts on top of ClickHouse

Connect a ClickHouse you already run. Plexus queries it live over a read-only connection.

   Create a read-only user limited to your telemetry database. Change the names and password.

   sql

   CREATE USER plexus_reader IDENTIFIED WITH sha256_password BY 'choose-a-password';
   GRANT SELECT ON telemetry.* TO plexus_reader;

   In Plexus, go to Connections, click Add connection, and pick ClickHouse.

   Paste a connection string for that user. Plexus reads over ClickHouse's HTTPS interface, port 8443 by default.

   Pick the tables worth tracking, then build a dashboard and add alert rules on them. Alerts need Pro; dashboards work on Free.

What you’ll see: Charts read straight from ClickHouse. Alert rules check new rows every poll and notify you in Slack or by email.

Connect it, and the dashboards build themselves from the first data that lands.
