Why
Until now, trying Plexus meant a 5-day trial and a card. That is too short to wire up a real device and see whether the data is useful. So we replaced the trial with a free plan that doesn't end.
Free covers the first question a hardware team asks: can I get my machine's data in and look at it? Pro covers the rest.
What Free includes
Sign up with your email and you're on Free. There's no card and no call.
- Up to 3 devices. Connections count toward the 3.
- 7 days of history. Charts and queries reach back 7 days.
- Dashboards, devices, connections, API keys and org settings.
What Pro adds
Everything else stays visible in the app with a small lock: alerts and monitors, Slack, email and webhook integrations, events and activity, runs, video recording, share links, embeds, the Terminal, and inviting teammates. Click a locked item and you can upgrade.
Limits
When a free org tries to add a 4th device, the app shows the upgrade dialog and the device isn't created. Data sent from a 4th unknown device is dropped at the gateway. Devices you already have are never removed.
Orgs that were already paying keep their plan and pricing.
